The Role: Primarily, the function includes operating, growing and maximising Morgan’s retail experience and merchandise sales. Merchandise sales are made via the lifestyle and gift shop located in the Morgan Experience Centre at the company’s factory, as well as the global online merchandise store.
The role will include marketing and promoting the Morgan shop to a global audience, both online and onsite, as well as all operational functions; including stock and supplier management and online web management. The role also includes line management and working closely with other departments within the Morgan Motor Company. The Morgan Experience Centre is an integral asset in the growth of Morgan’s community and the retail and merchandise within has huge potential.

The role will include, but is not limited to the following:
Retail Sales:
The Retail Experience Executive is responsible for all Morgan retail operations including:
· Management of retail operations and sales in both the on-site shop at the Morgan Experience Centre and the Official Morgan online store.
· Overall responsibility for the operation of the on-site shop and systems – close management of the Retail Experience Coordinator.
· Management of the Official Morgan online store and fulfilment supplier; including systems management, customer shipping and customers comms
· Growth and development of the online retail offering – managing improvements to increase revenue online and ensure the best practices are in place to allow rapid growth.
· Product development project management, including pro-actively looking for new opportunities which have a synergy with the brand and commercial opportunity.
· Overall responsibility for the on-site retail shop layout and display of products, working closely with the Retail Experience Coordinator – including visual merchandising across the Morgan Experience Centre
· Working closely alongside key stakeholders in the business, including design, wider marketing team and finance team to develop and bring new retail products to market.
· Ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained at all times, including a seamless customer journey.
· Management of promotional campaigns for both new and existing products.
· Liaison with existing and new suppliers, maintaining positive and fair relationships with all.
· Managing stock levels within the on-site shop and ensuring online stock levels are correct with fulfilment supplier.
· Co-ordination and planning of brand collaborations alongside the Head of Experience.
· Co-ordinating financial reports for both the on-site retail shop and online sales; reporting figures on a weekly basis for target purposes.
· Co-ordination and planning of retail events off-site.
· Cover for staff in the on-site shop for daily lunch break, annual leave and sickness.
All the above to be completed with a view to maintaining the highest standards of quality whilst looking for opportunities for growth, improvement and revenue recognition
Essential skills and experience required:
· Proven background in a retail role, ideally in retail product marketing
· Strong knowledge of online retail systems, with the ability to work across multiple platforms
· Knowledge and use of social media platforms
· Computer literacy and accuracy
· Self-motivated, with strong organisation skills and acute attention to detail
· Ability to communicate well at all levels and lead a small team
· Ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks
· Proactive personality who will challenge current thinking and strive for continuous improvement
